Welcome to Barbara’s Bakehouse!

Barbara’s is run by American-born pastry chef, Holly, who has been working across California and London in bakeries for nearly 15 years. Classically trained at Le Cordon Bleu - London, Holly has always had an affinity for nostalgic bakes - probably from baking snickerdoodle cookies in her Grandma Barbara’s kitchen in the ‘90s! Here you’ll not only find American influences, but the British and Asian influences of her partner Bao’s childhood as well.

Barbara’s Bakehouse is an ode to American and British nostalgic bakes - everything from classic school cake cookies to key lime pie to the ooiest-gooiest cinnamon rolls you’ll ever eat.

We also can’t wait for you to try our hand-rolled, 36 hour fermented Cali-style bagels! After months of development and hundreds of bagels, we’re so excited to add these little beauties to our menu, along side a great line-up of handmade spreads and seasonal toppings.
